Insurance

Our services are covered by private insurance plans and/or employer benefit dental plans.

To ensure your visit is worry-free, Queen Street Smiles is an approved dental provider and offers direct billing to most insurance companies listed here (please ask us if you want to know if your insurance plan offers direct billing):

  • Manulife Financial

  • Sun Life Financial

  • Canada Life (Great-West Life)

  • Industrial Alliance Insurance

  • Blue Cross

  • Green Shield Canada

  • Standard Life

  • Claimsecure

  • Dejardins

  • The co-operators

Please be advised that although this is an extensive list, health plans do change regularly without prior notification. We recommend that you verify the dental plan coverage you have available.

Upon your arrival at the clinic during your first visit, we will verify your benefits to determine if there will be a copay, deductible, or coinsurance for services available.

Remember, our services are covered by most group benefit plans, and if you don’t use them, you will lose them!

For more information or to verify your coverage, please contact our friendly receptionist at contact@queenstreetsmiles.com or at (905) 454-9583.

  • Will my sessions be covered by insurance?
Yes. Most services are covered by your insurance plan, but the coverage will vary by plan. Queen Street Smiles will be happy to assist in contacting your insurance company and determining your coverage based on your individual policy. Further information can be found on our Insurance page or you can talk to our receptionist so we can help you clarify your insurance coverage.
  • What happens if I don’t have insurance?
You do not need to have insurance; we also accept private payments for clients who do not have insurance.
  • When and how do I pay?
Payments are made at the time of service. We accept cash, debit card, and credit card and personal cheque. We can also bill most insurance companies directly, and you will be required to pay the difference.
